Inspiration and Challenges

  What inspired you to start Geez Louise, and what has been the most significant challenge you've faced on your journey?

GL:We are both into wellness and healthy and tasty things and saw a gap in the prebiotic sparkling water space. Navigating the grocery world has been quite the adventure for us, especially since neither of us has a background in food & bev. It’s been a steep learning curve but a fun one!”

Milestones and Achievements

  Can you share a pivotal moment or milestone for Geez Louise that you're particularly proud of?

GL: A really exciting moment for Geez Louise was when we landed our first major retail partnership with a national chain - Whole Foods Canada. It was a validation of Geez Louise’s quality and market demand.”

Future Vision

 Looking ahead, what's one major goal you're working towards as founders, and how does that tie into your vision for Geez Louise?

GL: We want to become a leading player in the functional beverage market here in Canada and eventually launch internationally!”

 What piece of advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs looking to start their own venture?

GL: Believe in your vision, surround yourself with a supportive network, stay resilient and persevere through the challenges - because those will come!!”

GL: “It’s our priority to support other women within our organization and our community. We do this through our partnerships and who we choose to work with. Happy IWD!!”

As a brand that's always thinking about the next big thing in functional drinks, we're all about teaming up on projects that make people healthier. This whole movement is about getting the drink industry to offer healthier stuff, kind of like how everyone's really into health and wellness these days.
